European and American investors founded the Caucasus Clean Energy Holding Pte LTD (CCEH). The company is represented in Georgia by its Managing Director, Mikheil Nibladze. The CCEH team consists of high-level professionals possessing experience in investment, technical, and environmental areas.The work experience of team members (in Georgia and abroad) averages from 5 to 20 years.
Caucasus Clean Energy Holding Pte. (CCEH) is an international investment company established on August 25, 2015. The company investors are from various western countries. CCEH started its operations in 2015 and aims at investing in the construction of small and medium sized HPPs in Georgia through equity participation.
An extremely important aspect for CCEH is not only the provision of highly required capital for the projects but also their enrichment with western practices related to the construction and operation of hydropower plants. CCEH and the project developers share a common vision and strategy to not only achieve financial returns, but intangible value creation and implementation of best practices in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects, which is the basis of the CCEH investment philosophy.
The CCEH's portfolio includes both completed (Lakhami HPP, Bakhvi 3 HPP, Intsoba HPP and Achi HPP) and ongoing (Akhalkalaki HPP) hydro energy projects. The portfolio also covers projects (Bakhvi 1 HPP and Bakhvi 2 HPP) which are on permitting and feasibility stages.
