The Company's portfolio includes both operational HPPs and construction phase HPPs. CCEH operates in full compliance with the Georgian legislation and regulations in accordance to the Environmental and Social Management Standards of international financial institutions such as IFC and EIB.
Bakhvi 3 HPP
- The project is owned by CCEH alsongside Silk Road Energy
- The installed capacity of Bakhvi 3 HPP is 9.8 MW, whereas its annual generation amounts to 38.1 GWh
- The project consists of headworks, a fish pass, a diversion canal, a buried penstock, and a powerhouse
- The generated electricity is transmitted via a 35 kV overhead transmission line into the national grid
Bakhvi 3 is a small run-of-the-river HPP situated on the Bakhvistskali river in the Guria region, Ozurgeti municipality, near the Ukanava village. Bakhvi 3 HPP joined CCEH in November 2017. CCEH developed the Environmental and Social Management Action Plan for the project to ensure the implementation of the highest ESG standards. The project has been operational since 2015.
