The Company's portfolio includes both operational HPPs and construction phase HPPs. CCEH operates in full compliance with the Georgian legislation and regulations in accordance to the Environmental and Social Management Standards of international financial institutions such as IFC and EIB.
Akhalkalaki HPP

- The installed capacity of the Akhalkalaki HPP cascade is 9.1 MW and its annual generation amounts to 49 GWh
- Each scheme consists of headworks, a fish pass, a buried penstock, and a powerhouse
- The generated electricity is transmitted via a 35 kV overhead transmission line to the national grid
Akhalkalaki HPP (Akhalkalaki 1 HPP and Akhalkalaki 2 HPP) is a run-of-the-river HPP located on the Paravani river and its right tributary, Korkhi river in Samtskhe Javakheti region, Akhalkalaki municipality near Diliska and Korkhi villages. The project became commercially operational since November 2022.
