The Company's portfolio includes both operational HPPs and construction phase HPPs. CCEH operates in full compliance with the Georgian legislation and regulations in accordance to the Environmental and Social Management Standards of international financial institutions such as IFC and EIB.
Intsoba HPP
- Instoba HPP is housed by CCEH Hydro VIII
- The installed capacity of Intsoba HPP cascade is 1.8 MW and its annual generation amounts to 9.2 GWh
- The project consists of two HPP schemes. Each of the schemes consists of headworks, a buried penstock, and a powerhouse
- The generated electricity is transmitted via a 10 KV overhead transmission line to the national grid
Intsoba HPP (Intsoba 1 HPP and Intsoba 2 HPP) is a small cascade of run-of-the-river HPPs, which are located on the Intsoba river in the Kakheti region, Kvareli municipality, near the Sabue village. The project was rehabilitated in 2015 when its generating units were replaced.
