The Company's portfolio includes both operational HPPs and construction phase HPPs. CCEH operates in full compliance with the Georgian legislation and regulations in accordance to the Environmental and Social Management Standards of international financial institutions such as IFC and EIB.
Lakhami HPP
- Lakhami HPP is housed by the Austrian Georgian Development LLC
- The installed capacity of Lakhami HPP cascade is 16 MW and its annual generation amounts to 80 GWh
- The project consists of two HPP schemes. Each of the schemes consists of headworks, a fish pass, a buried penstock, and a powerhouse
- The generated electricity is transmitted via a 35 kV overhead transmission line to the national grid
Lakhami HPP (Lakhami 1 HPP and Lakhami 2 HPP) is a small cascade of run-of-the-river HPPs located on Lakhami river in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Mestia municipality, near Lakhami village. The project has been operational since 2020.
